Hey, I’m Felipe Puletini, a dance teacher, educator, and choreographer.
Brazilian-born and a Member of the International Dance Council - CID/ UNESCO.
Degree of Vocational Higher Education in Fine Arts (Performing Arts Major), Certified Teacher in Giordano Technique (Certificate Program with Nan Giordano), American Ballet Theatre® National Curriculum Training (Pre-Primary through Level 6), Olympic Preparation for Dancers, and PBT (Progressing Ballet Technique).
Brazilian-born artist Felipe Puletini is a dynamic dance professional working across performance, choreography, education, and arts administration. His mission is to educate, inspire, and uplift communities through the arts. He currently serves as Community Arts Partnership Program Coordinator at Ballet Hispánico, bringing culturally relevant dance programming to schools, corporations, and community spaces across the country.
In 2026, Felipe assisted Brazilian choreographer Cassi Abranches, resident choreographer of Grupo Corpo, during the creation of Trança for Ballet Hispánico’s Mujeres program, which premiered at New York City Center. He will also lead Ballet Hispánico’s SUNY Purchase residency, teaching and re-staging Trança. In addition, he served as a panelist for the Battery Dance Festival, helping curate artists and companies for its 45th edition, and returned to the stage after eight years as a guest artist with DEYODANCES, performing in What the Hell Jacques and Non Troppo by Lisa Deyo.
From 2022–2025, Felipe worked with Ballet RI as Company Manager and later as Head of the Primary Division and Children’s Cast Director for productions of The Nutcracker and Cinderella.
Since 2017, almost a decade, Felipe is a Guest Teaching Artist at Central Connecticut State University’s Dance Program and a sought-after coach and choreographer throughout New England and NYC. His students have received top honors and scholarships at YAGP, Universal Ballet Competition, and the Connecticut Classic Scholarship Competition.
His choreographic work includes collaborations with the New Britain Symphony Orchestra, Mystic River Chorale, Mystic Outdoor Festival, and Connecticut Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra, where he created original works for the We the People program featuring music by Carlos Gomes and Heitor Villa-Lobos. He was also commissioned by New England Ballet Theatre for its 2024–25 Emerging Works season.
As a performer, Felipe has danced an extensive repertoire spanning classical ballet, contemporary dance, and musical theatre, with soloist roles in Cinderella, Swan Lake, Paquita, Don Quixote, The Nutcracker, and La Fille Mal Gardée, as well as roles in I Gotcha!, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, and the inaugural Bibi Ferreira Awards. His contemporary repertoire includes works by internationally recognized choreographers including Rodney Rivera, Sergei Vanaev, Alejandro Ulloa, Lauren Edson, Gabrielle Lamb, Catherine Fellows, Pascal Rekoert, and Nan Giordano.
As Founder and Director of AMA Dance Theatre School & Foundation, Felipe established a pre-professional training program and resident company while creating scholarship opportunities for public-school dancers through the En Avant project. His productions include Divertissements, Nós Vós Eles, and Sleeping Beauty.
